This month’s theme is Belonging.
Sunday, October 20 Channing in Our Time
This year we celebrate the 200th anniversary of William Ellery Channing’s famous Baltimore sermon wherein we claimed the name “Unitarian” proudly, distinguishing ourselves from other Christians. How did Unitarians find our sense of belonging to ourselves 200 years ago? Where does Unitarianism belong today? While the triennial Unitarian Universalist History Convocation meets in Baltimore honoring this fundamental moment in our story, Rev. Karen will preach on it here.
