| 09/05/2010 | 10:00 AM | " Sharing Summer’s Bounty" | Reverend Dr. Susan Veronica Rak and Sun. Svce Comm |
| Bringing back our outdoor service and potluck picnic with a theme of sharing
summer’s bounty…we invite you to bring readings and poetry that evoke your
sense of the season, as well as the fruits & vegetables of your garden labor. During
the service there will also be an opportunity to present the fruits and vegetables of
your garden labor for all to admire and to exchange surplus produce with other
gardeners and members of CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) groups.
After the service we’ll cook up some hamburgers, veggie burgers and hot dogs on
Reverend Susan’s kettle grill! Please bring a side dish or dessert to share and let’s join together in celebrating
summer’s bounty.

| The sound of the shofar on Yom Kippur has brought the High Holy Days to a close. Our annual recognition of the
themes and inspiration of the Days of Awe focuses on resilience. The Service will, as it has in the past, include
ritual, reflection and special music.
