Lost Souls Memorial Project receives Incubation Grant

The Unitarian Society is proud to serve as the fiscal agent for the Lost Souls Memorial Project. The project seeks to memorialize the 144 people lost to slavery due to slave ring that “… was operated in East Brunswick, out of the home of Middlesex County judge, Jacob Van Wickle.” The project recently received an incubation grant of $5,000 from the New Jersey Council for the Humanities.
