In our Bond of Union, recited at each Sunday service, we state that we “reserve to each individual the right to his or her own beliefs as to the nature of God and the universe.” This Sunday, Marie Phelan, Ryan Mulroney, Eldridge Dunn and possibly others will share with the congregation those beliefs in the form of credo statements. This sharing is particularly special in light of the fact that it is an Affirmation year, when we will ask our youth to develop and present their own credo statements at the Affirmation service in the spring. A special thanks to all who have volunteered to participate.
