Sky Yardley and Rev. Jane Dwinell explore the realities of living with dementia based on Sky’s diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease in August 2016. They seek to increase people’s understanding of this disease that affects nearly everyone in some way, as well as to help to erase the stigma that comes with a diagnosis.

 

Sky Yardley and Rev. Jane Dwinell live in Burlington, VT with their son, Sayer and his partner, Emma, where they have fun gardening, playing challenging board games, and heading out for a round of disc golf whenever they can. Sky is a retired family mediator, and Jane is a retired UU small congregation consultant, parish minister, and hospice chaplain.
