Each generation has its civil rights issues:  nearly a century ago, it was women’s voting rights.  Two generations ago it was lunch counters and integration.  Last decade it was marriage equality.  And now: bathrooms.  While we may be outraged or confused at the false arguments bandied about in North Carolina (or Texas, or…), what can we do here in Central Jersey – here at TUS? – to live out loud our values and stated commitment of being a welcoming congregation?

 

This is the last day of religious education.

 

After the service, there will be a workshop in the sanctuary, open to all, called Gender Identity 101.  A chance to learn and share, to educate yourself or bring information back to someone you love.  Please attend. Light snacks will be provided
