Sunday Service, May 30, 2021 @10:30AM — Reparations

May 30:
Reparations.  What was once considered by many people a way-out-there demand is now getting new attention, and rightly so.  Why does the word “reparation” cause some to become defensive and others to become creative?  How does our Unitarian Universalist history factor into the conversation? How do our modern day Unitarian Universalist values inform us on this topic?   In a year-plus (decade-plus) when our nation grapples with racial injustice, let’s grow our racial literacy on this topic.  Rev. Karen is in the pulpit and we will have visitors from May Memorial UU Society in Syracuse, NY.
