United in love and acting for justice, The Unitarian Society is an inclusive spiritual community. Together, we explore meaning and purpose, support one another, celebrate wonder for the world we share, and challenge ourselves to live into our Unitarian Universalist values.

Interpretative Statement

United in love and acting for justice,
Through collective action and shared inspiration, we seek to dismantle racism, economic inequality, gender injustice and other oppressions. We work together for compassionate action in the wider community. Love anchors us to our commitment to the inherent worth and dignity of every person and to the planet.

The Unitarian Society is an inclusive spiritual community.
Our congregation welcomes diversity, affirms LGBTQIA+ people, values people of all ages and backgrounds, works toward accessibility, and creates a sanctuary for spiritual connection.

Together, we explore meaning and purpose,
In weekly services and in spiritual practices, we bring together many philosophical and theological perspectives. We learn and grow together as a spiritual, religious and ethical community.

support one another,
We show up for each other in the moments of deepest joy and sorrow, providing compassionate outreach to members at the turning points of our lives. We covenant to work through our differences with respect and resilience.

celebrate wonder for the world we share,
As a spiritual community, we lift up the seasons of the year and our lives in story, song and ritual. We embrace science and reason, we treasure the natural world, and we plant the seeds of curiosity in the next generation.
