We Need Many Lights: Unsung Heroes, Vital Figures

As we honor Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., let us also recognize those who played roles in the Civil Rights Movement who were not as well known. For it takes many individuals to come together and run a movement, and it takes multitudes to effect societal change. What can we learn from those who preceded us as we journey towards justice, equity and solidarity?
